Our Statistics

Since 2006, the Fairfax Egg Bank, through the Genetics & IVF Institute, has offered frozen donor oocytes to patients requesting donor egg IVF. Since that time, more than 150 treatment cycles have been performed. As this is a newer technology, like most programs, the Fairfax Egg Bank has been refining and optimizing the methods used to freeze and warm eggs.

For the last four years, we have been using a technique that has consistently provided impressive results.

The most up to date success rates show
that over the past twelve months (May 2012 through May 2013)

61% of recipients have achieved a clinical pregnancy.
During this same time period,
52% have an ongoing pregnancy or have gone on to deliver.

Pregnancy rate is a percentage, calculated based on clinical pregnancy per embryo transfer. A clinical pregnancy is defined as a gestational sac observed in the uterus at roughly 6-7 weeks gestation.
